    Waaaw .. I like the way of explaining the music concepts here!

    But unfortunately I feel that I miss up some videos here? I start with lesson 1 till 4 and then find lesson 5 discussing another concept. How can I know the full series in ascending order?

  5. jakejake561 says:

    Chromatic scale kind of reminded me of “Flight of the Bumblebees” LOOL

    Half an hour a day?
    Well I only just started learning about 3 days ago by finding your videos and I can’t pull myself away from the piano. I’m putting in at least 6 or more hours a day and I know it’s not much considering I’ve only been playing for 3 days, but I’m going to carry on playing at least 6 hours a day. I love piano and at the moment I love learning it.

    Thanks for another great video.

    Andrew, you’re really awesome. These lessons are fantastic, and your attitude is so relaxed, while your personality is patient. Thank you so much for all of your work. I thoroughly watching your videos – I even laugh at some of your jokes which makes it all the more enjoyable.

    k thx

    @truetroy12
    Hey, the same reason we use rhythm. Play something without rhyhm, it will make no sense, nobody will be able to hear what it should be etc
    Random notes will just sound .. yeah.. random..nothing else. Try get Magic Piano app for iPad, it has a function just spitting out completely random notes. then you will get my point :)

    Also, why would you only need 12 keys in an octave? It’s just how the west invented music. in ancient cultures 1/8 tone intervals have been used :-) ))
