In music class people were playing this so they taught me how to play the first little section. I’m watching all these videos and I don’t even own a piano or keyboard. Just hoping.

Look at some of the world’s “great” composers: Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky…. Some of their stuff is just simple repetition of quarter notes. It’s not the complexity that matters, it’s the end result, and evoking emotion from the listener through sound.

  15. Jerborn says:

Most tutorials online like this aren’t even how the songs are truly played. Most chords on the piano and guitar can be played in numerous places on the instrument, whether it be a different hand position in a new fret on the guitar or a different key on the piano. That compounded with the ability to alter the tuning of the instrument to produce different songs allow the player to make extremely difficult songs into simple ones. If you watch Chris play you can see he uses the entire piano.

I bought it at a music store, and let my piano teacher teach it to me, but I’ve been taking for over 5 years, she just gave me advice ;]

If you would be creative you would know how difficult it is to create simple things

  21. 818musicmaniac says:

in the beggianing where both hands r doing the same thing i got the right hand (rlly easy) but the left hand seems to b weaker anyways, i just need to practice so thx anyways!

  22. SILENTTeMpZ says:

@IllichSketchShow no we didnt. cold play is a great band and nobody cares if they are repetitive or not. they make some of the best music out there, especially on the piano!

  23. IllichSketchShow says:

Anyone else lose all respect for Coldplay as they realise how simple and repetitive their songs are to play?

  24. WafflePhantom says:

    I wish i was coordinated…. at all

  25. atomicmonkey101 says:

is there any sheet music accompaniment? thats how I learn best.
